We fly from Toronto across the Atlantic to Lisbon, Portugal. We are looking forward to visiting a few museums and trying some delicious food.

Then to Munich, Germany for just a few days, before taking a 10-hour flight to...

Bangkok, Thailand. We will take a Thai cooking class and travel north to Chiang Mai, before heading south to the islands of Koh Tao (where Rob will get his Enriched Air SCUBA designation) and Pha-Ngan .

Then continue on to Singapore for an architecture tour (and more good food)

Before journeying to Perth, Australia. From Perth to Melbourne before heading up north to Cairns where Rob is planning to do a 3-day liveaboard of SCUBA diving on the Great Barrier Reef .

We'll make our way down Brisbane and the Gold Coast before heading to Sydney (gotta see that Opera House) and Bondi Beach. Next, it's off to New Zealand to hunt for Hobbits.

Looping around Auckland before flying to Christchurch and road-tripping down to Queenstown. We'll fly back to Auckland and head to the middle of the Pacific Ocean... 

We'll have the plane stop in Tahiti to stretch our legs (and take a well-deserved rest.) On our way home we'll stop by Los Angeles and go on a Mid-Century Modern architecture tour. (Subject to change after the devastating wildfires. We may head back to San Francisco.)

Finally home sweet home in the Big Smoke, Hogtown, the T-Dot - Toronto on April 6! 

When we had a summer rental, Rob had some coasters made reading "Cobra Cabana." While we may not have had a spot of our own, we could make our Cobra Cabana be wherever we happen to be. The next year the coasters accompanied us on our trips.

As Kim was planning our epic journey, Rob decided she ran a travel agency called "Cobra Cabana Travel Worldwide" or CCTW.

This was to honour the mysterious acronym painted on the side of Bruce Wilks' racecar. While Bruce Wilks was identified as the Owner, Driver, Mechanic - Bob McJannett was identified as T.W & C.C. 

Rob couldn't figure out what it possibly could stand for and finally had to ask his Dad. "Well I don't know how helpful I was to Bruce, so I just had them put something vague. It stood for Tire Wiper & Chrome Cleaner!"
