And now for something different, a Guest Post from my Aunt Johanna and Uncle Jim McKee!

Sailing the Romantic Rhine & Moselle was an unforgettable 14-day journey through the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, and Switzerland, with castles, vineyards, and storybook towns unfolding around every bend. We travelled aboard the Scenic Opal, which truly felt like a five-star hotel that floated. Refurbished in 2019, it offered spacious suites, gourmet meals, a wellness area with massages and a salon, e-bikes for exploring on shore, and live entertainment each evening. Along the way, we explored cities like Antwerp, Cochem, and Strasbourg, cruised past hilltop castles in the Rhine Gorge, and soaked up incredible views and sunshine. The scenery changed faster than the dinner menus—and that’s saying something.
